The centric location of our hotel in the city of Castro, geographical midpoint of the island, offers the comfort to plan touristic routes to the most beautiful places within the archipelago, and still get on time to dine in one of the nicest restaurants in town, as well as resting in a room overlooking the fiord. You may also relax in our modern spa, enjoying a soothing experience.

To Castro’s iconic building, designed by Emile Duhart, National Price of Architecture, we have added a modern wing, inaugurated 2008, where 20 new suites and the spa facilities are found. In the main building we count with 29 standard rooms recently remodeled.

Restaurant Las Araucarias

Set in the first level of our hotel, has a privileged view to Castro’s fiord. It offers a wide menu, ranging from our own seafood specialties to the tasty meat from the south of Chile. A traditional curanto or pulmay, is a good way to get introduced to native gastronomy. A paila marina (seafood stew) is energizing after visiting Chiloe’s attractions.

Bar Las Bandurrias

Located in the lobby level of the hotel, relaxing ambience and cozy chimney, it offers a wide variety of cocktails, liquors and wine to enjoy with an appetizer or snack. Our bar is a perfect meeting point.

Public Pub Discotec

Public is an exclusive disco located in central Castro, right by the Hosteria. It has a modern infrastructure, high tec music and lightning equipments, two giant screens, two dance floors, exclusive drinks and varied music to satisfy every taste. It is oriented towards young adults with high standards, who will enjoy a night of entertainment in a place that has earned its prestige in more than a decade of experience.

SPA

Located in the first floor of our new building and facing the fiord, the modern spa is a place to pamper in our indoor swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool, gym or massage box.

Conference Room

With a capacity of 110 persons, this room has everything you may need for a seminar, class, exhibition or gathering:  video projector (100″), slide projector, integrated sound system, cabin for simultaneous translation and catering.

Hotel Casita Española

An excellent and very affordable lodging option in central Castro. It has comfortable rooms with private bathroom, central heat, cable TV and parking place.
